Editorial policy

Fire It publishes writing for restaurant operators who don't have time for vendor fluff. This page states what we will and won't do in our content.

Accuracy

Every factual claim in a Fire It article should be verifiable, either from a linked source or from the operational behavior of the Fire It platform. If we can't verify it, we don't publish it as a fact.

Sourcing

External data points are cited. Internal operational examples are labeled as illustrative and show their assumptions. We do not publish "industry averages" without a link to the underlying methodology.

No fabricated customers

We do not invent case studies, quotes, testimonials, or named customer results. Named references appear only with explicit permission and written approval from the named party.

Numbers and modeled examples

Any calculation, cost estimate, or ROI illustration is marked "illustrative" and shows the inputs used. Fire It does not promise ROI, ranking, or accuracy in marketing copy.

AI assistance, human review

Fire It uses AI tools during drafting. Every published article is reviewed by a human on the Fire It team before it appears on the site. AI is never the final decision-maker on what we publish.

Practical testing

Where we describe how the product behaves, that behavior is tested in the same environment restaurants use. If a described behavior later changes, we update the article and note the date of the change.

Transparent updates

Every article shows a published date and an updated date. If we make a material change we update the second one. If we correct a mistake we say so at the top of the article.

Corrections

If you find an error, email hello@fireitai.com. We publish corrections publicly.

No paid ranking

We do not accept payment to rank vendors, list features, or write favorable reviews. Every recommendation on Fire It is unpaid.
